Bill Cummings
Owner

Bill Cummings, founder of BNC Construction, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company and is deeply involved with each project from conception to completion. He works closely with owners and his team members in determining project feasibility, scheduling, and quality control. His greatest experiences have been in the field, working with a team of men and women to deliver projects to BNC’s clients. Bill has a great deal of pride in the role the company plays in building facilities that help our clients achieve their business objectives. Bill attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas and is a member of several industry and community organizations, Bill is also an AIA Member, OSHA 10 Hour Certified, and a D&A Committee member for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. Van Davis
Superintendent

Van brings a wealth of Commercial & Institutional Construction knowledge to the company. His skill set and experience fits well within our company’s strategic plans and initiatives and we look forward to the value he brings with him. Before joining BNC, Van worked with JH Premier. Kenny, Vice President of BNC said, “I have personally known Van for over 30 years. Kenny Roch
Vice President

Kenny brings to BNC Construction over 20 of years of diversified experience in the construction industry. He has managed a variety of projects in Houston and Dallas that include an array of hospitality, big-box and boutique retail, financial, and a myriad of notable healthcare projects. Kenny is responsible for the overall performance and success of each project within his charge, and manages the flow of information from the client, design team, and subcontractors while simultaneously accounting for the project budget and schedule, site safety, and quality control issues. Prior to joining BNC, Kenny served as the executive project manager on a number of significant new construction and alteration projects for J.H. Premier. Kenny attended Akron University. Brooke Rodriguez
Office Manager

Brooke Rodriguez assists with the financial controls of all active projects for BNC Construction, and is involved with the day-to-day activities of the construction accounting and operations staff. Brooke functionally and administratively reports to the President, but maintains a close working relationship with the project managers and executive management team. Her principal responsibilities include upholding company policy and procedures; budget implementation and forecasting of anticipated project related costs; maintaining transparent account receivable management programs and protocols; development and the maintenance of overall project budgets; and preparation and distribution of project anticipated cost reports to clients and management teams. Anthony Sarao
Superintendent

Anthony Sarao joined BNC Construction May of 2008. His duties include participation at the pre-construction planning phase, project scheduling, and coordinating corporate-wide field operations and staffing for the firm. His expert navigation skills in challenging logistic conditions and a thorough knowledge of complex building systems have resulted in a number of successful projects for BNC Construction. Anthony attends the University of Houston and will receive a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, and is also OSHA 10 Hour Certified. Anthony can be reached at asarao@bncbuilt.com.
Jon Sellers, CPA
Chief Financial Officer

Jonathan Sellers handles all aspects of the financial management of BNC Construction and its affiliated partnerships. He also provides insight into current and future projects based on his in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry. Mr. Sellers joined BNC after eight years at AIM Investments, where he strategically led global financial projects and assisted the controller and treasurer in daily operations. Natalie Cummings
Office Administrator

Natalie Cummings joined the BNC team in 2005 after spending several years working in the Financial Services and Accounting industry. She works directly with clients and the company’s principals during the lifecycle of each project through to successful completion. Prior to joining BNC, Natalie was an account executive with Goldman Sachs in Dallas. Natalie’s comprehensive understanding of the financial workings of the construction industry has made her a respected and recognized leader in her field. Natalie graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas with a BBA in Finance and a BBA in OBBP.
Emmit Coots
Owner

Emmit Coots joined BNC Construction in 2010 and has been instrumental in launching BNC's office in Dallas, Texas. He carries with him over fourteen years experience in all aspects of construction, project management, and pre-construction services. His experience encompasses such project types as industrial/distribution warehouse, hospitality, and retail centers. Prior to BNC Construction, Emmit performed in the capacity of Senior Project Manager for Burton Construction and Duke Construction in Dallas, Texas. Emmit received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University and graduated Magna Cum Laude and University Undergraduate Fellows both University honors. Josh Rendon
Vice President

Josh Rendon joined the BNC Construction team in 2007. His years of experience in the construction industry have included a comprehensive spectrum of projects in the industrial, retail, educational and commercial market sectors. Josh is responsible for the daily operation of projects under his supervision including management and coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the project team to ensure successful completion. He has negotiated, written and awarded subcontracts; developed scheduling and logistics and phasing plans; consulted with clients, architects, engineers and contractors; and ensured compliance within contract documents. Josh has led the completion effort on a number of build to suit construction projects that have been received with praise from our clients. He has earned his Associate of Arts Degree from Lone Star College and is currently attending the University of Houston for a Bachelor’s of Business Administration. KC Jones
Project Manager

KC Jones joined BNC Construction in October of 2009. He has over thirty years experience in the construction industry and his portfolio includes professional office buildings, medical and laboratory facilities, parking garages, interior build-outs, and education facilities. KC’s primary responsibilities include business development, estimating, team scheduling, overall project management, and client coordination. He oversees his projects from conception to completion by coordinating design team activities, developing specifications, maintaining project budgets and timelines, and preparing status reports for Management. Larry Ray
Senior Project Manager

Mr. Ray has an abundance of experience in the construction field as a Project Manager. From 1997-2003, he was employed with Horizon Constructors and completed work for mostly petrochemical related businesses. He joins the BNC team from JH Premier Construction where he began in July 2003 through June 2011. Some of his most evident projects include building USPS district offices, 401 Franklin remodel and other turnkey projects in cities such as Austin, Freeport, Fresno, Houston and McAllen. He looks forward to aiding BNC Construction in growing turnkey build to suites and executing larger tenant build-outs. His knowledge, experience and execution will benefit BNC in many ways. Owen Davis
Superintendent

Owen Davis has had over twenty years of experience in the construction industry. Owen received his start in the industry twenty six years ago hanging drywall and has progressed since then. In the past years Owen has spent time as a superintendent overseeing various jobs including but not limited to tenant build outs, medical and professional building, and renovation projects both big and small. Cassie Kraus
Office Administrator

Cassie Kraus assists with the financial controls of all active projects for BNC Construction, and is involved with the day-to-day activities of the construction accounting and operations staff. Cassie maintains a close working relationship with the project managers and executive management team. Her principal responsibilities include handling all insurance related issues, upholding company policy and procedures; maintaining transparent account receivable management programs and protocols; entering invoices, maintaining a vigorous system of communication while welcoming perspective clients as well as valued subcontractors; and distribution of project anticipated cost reports to subcontractors and management teams. Mina Martin

Mina Martin joined BNC Construction in August of 2011. Her responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations of the Dallas office. Prior to joining BNC, Mina was employed with Texas Health Resources Presbyterian in Plano in their Human Resources office. Robyn O'Brien
Sales and Marketing

Robyn helped launch the BNC Dallas office this year and brings over 12 years of long-term relationship building and successful sales achievements in various markets segments. Her experience in the construction industry began with temporary subcontractor staffing, leading to business development for a subcontractor, and now handles both aspects of marketing and pre-construction services as a general contractor. Robyn is involved in project presentations and interviews. Her role in pre-construction services includes phases of estimating, procuring projects, and promoting the company industry-wide. She is committed to ensuring the expectations of all clients are not only met, but continually exceeded. Robyn is a member of the National Associated of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) North Texas Chapter and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and Real Estate Professionals (NTCAR).
